Some green airglow and the North end of the Milky Way at the iconic Three Sisters rock formation at Goblin Valley State Park, Utah. The setting crescent moon made for nice foreground lighting and a 'blue hour' glow in the sky.
This image is a composite of two photographs, one for the foreground and one for the sky. I zoomed in on the Milky Way for the last 10 seconds of the exposure to give it the “warp speed” look. Somniloquy is the term that describes the act of talking while asleep. All of the images in our Somniloquy series have to do with exposure blends and creativity: day shots for the foreground and night shots for the sky, processed and blended via Lightroom & Photoshop CC with a dream state in mind.
