An abandoned ship under the night sky in Maine. Single exposure. Good leading lines. A great find.
From the quick aurora display in mid February 2014 in central Maine. The Moon was very bright and washed out a lot of the sky and the aurora but made for some nice foreground lighting on the snow.
Some planning and luck came together for this single exposure taken at the Pemigewasset Overlook on the Kancamagus Highway in the White Mountains. We had a good time setting up lots of tealights as the Milky Way moved into position above the gazebo. Check out our Processing page for a Behind The Scenes graphic on this image.
