Illusory = based on illusion; not real Looking Glass = mirror This panorama of the full arc of the Milky Way and the moon rising was captured at Loon Island Lighthouse in NH. The "clouds" emanating from the center were added in post and the image was flipped to create the mirror effect. This image is one of our best selling prints and looks incredible on metal at almost 5 feet wide.
After spending a week trying to capture Comet NEOWISE before sunrise but being denied by clouds and fog, we were finally rewarded with relatively clear skies and a half-illuminated moon to light up the foreground.
