This is a 10 shot panorama covering over 180 degrees of sky view from North (left) to South (right) while looking East and featuring the full Spring arc of our Milky Way galaxy, a bit of unexpected aurora color and the orange hue of light pollution. This image was processed through Lightroom 5 (twice, once for the sky and once for the foreground) & Photoshop CS5 and stitched together via PTGui. Photographed about 20 miles outside of Augusta, Maine. Nikon D600 & 14-24 @ 14mm f/2.8 - 10 x 30 secs - ISO 4000 05/08/14 – 3:00AM
